Branching Scenario

Avant Technologies was a mock client that a group of international instructional designers came up with to create a training module using Articulate Storyline. Our goal was to demonstrate team collaboration and to build a module to showcase in our individual portfolios. Fall 2021

We decided to develop a module about team communication. The plan was to create a branching scenario where a character, Alex, is having difficulty working on a new team. The training gives the learner the opportunity to make choices for Alex and see the various consequences for each choice. All the while, the learner is seeing best practices for providing feedback in team work situations. 

Two of our team members designed the storyboard and chose the colors and font to use. As someone with a Ph.D. in Communication, I acted as SME and provided the storyboard designers with information to use in the scenarios. Then, another teammate and I built the module in Storyline.
