Western Governor's University (WGU), College of General Education (CGE)
2023
Employees in the CGE at WGU demonstrated in a survey that they were dissatisfied with how leadership deals with their feedback about initiatives and projects. A team of instructors and leadership worked to create a "Culture of Feedback" within the college. One aspect of this project was to create a course on best practices in giving and receiving feedback. I created this video that demonstrated an analogy the Director of CGE made about allowing for some negative criticism, but not "parking" in the "negativity lot."
When creating a video, I first create a storyboard with a script and imagery ideas. I then created the video in Toonly. I add all the imagery before recording the audio. Once I record the audio, I arrange the imagery to match the audio.
This v ideo is a small part of a larger course on giving and receiving feedback. This course was built in Articulate Rise. You can see the full course by visiting the link to it within the sample Articulate Rise Portfolio.
